Our live webinar on The power of AI in Marketing was a fantastic way to learn more about AI, how businesses are applying it to their marketing strategy, plus how you can too for a relatively small cost and huge impact, without needing to be a tech whiz.
Our panel made up of industry experts featured Katie King, Author of AI Strategy for Sales & Marketing, Andrew Mann, a strategy consultant with 30 years of experience in customer loyalty and RedEye’s Head of Customer Success James Ede, with 15 years of experience helping clients discover new possibilities with AI functions and seeing huge targets and objectives being reached.
70% of marketers are yet to embrace AI to help with their campaigns
Starting off with a poll we learned that 70% of our viewers were not using AI and were interested to see how it will benefit them, what’s interesting is, that they probably don’t realise to an extent they are using AI as it is ingrained in our daily lives more than ever and only set to be bigger and more sophisticated in years to come.
Implementing AI into your marketing campaigns is not a time consuming task
Myth-busting was a key topic of the webinar, the worry that implementing AI is time-consuming, costly and complicated, all can be solved when you utilise an ‘out-of-the-box’ system that you can easily apply to your existing data and start seeing immediate results.
Andrew Mann stresses not to underestimate the power of AI, use it to help you choose where you want to spend your time whether it be focusing on customer growth, CLTV or increasing repeat spenders from first-time buyers, choose your personal objective to help you grow as a person and in the business by implementing AI.
Another poll was launched to see what our viewer’s most important marketing goal of 2022 was, with 2 coming out on top, to either acquire new customers or drive more repeat purchasers, both of which can be easily targeted with AI capabilities not just in email, but social media and paid ads too, adding to the customer’s perception of your brand with personalised messaging, products and information.
AI will be able to assist marketers to achieve personalisation at scale
Katie King predicts that personalisation at scale is set to boom in the next two years in the beauty and retail industries and says ‘you can’t afford to ignore it. Your competitors will be using it to differentiate and to stay ahead’.
The future of AI can be as daunting as it is exciting, with so many possibilities on the horizon, so getting on board with the basic principles of AI in marketing will help you stay ahead and be prepared for the advancements to come.
Investing now is a no brainer, as future generations that are coming into purchasing age and now digitally native and their expectations are higher, so to stay relevant you need to be able to keep up with the times and with the abundance of data now available to us we can use it to drive better campaigns, experiences at scale, with personalisation easily, all thanks to AI.
